The Legend

A woman once went to the doctor because an earwig got in her ear. She wasn't able to get it out, and neither was the doctor. It seems that the thing was burrowing into her brain, and any attempt to get it out would cause brain damage.

Fortunately, the bug eventually worked its way through to the other ear and came out. But the nightmare didn't end there. I turned out that the bug had been male, and the woman discovered that she was pregnant!
